SUFC applauds Congress and President Biden for pushing the Inflation Reduction Act across the finish line, which included $1.5 BILLION in funding for Urban and Community Forestry Programs. SUFC welcomes our newest member, Tree-Plenish. Founded by students, Tree-Plenish encourages high school students to build more sustainable schools by replenishing the environment with the resources they use each year through tree planting events in their communities. We are thrilled to have these energetic, youth stewards join the SUFC community.
Save the date! SUFC will be holding our Annual Meeting in person on March 1, 2023 at the UVA Darden Center in Arlington, VA.
