Late Summer 2021 News to Share
News From the SUFC Team
We are excited to welcome SUFC’s newest member, the Urban Wood Network! Though initially formed as a response to the Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) infestation and resulting mass removal of ash trees, the Urban Wood Network has a broad mission to inform, collaborate, and connect businesses on the value of urban trees once they are removed. The Urban Wood Network’s members recognize urban wood as an important resource and seek to find its highest and best use, including as lumber, furniture, and other wood products.
