On March 4, SUFC held its 15th Annual Meeting and Reception in Washington, DC. We had a great time catching up with old friends and meeting new ones, all while learning about some of the excellent work currently being done in urban forestry. Thank you to all of those who joined us for the events!

SUFC Member News
Following the rapidly evolving COVID-19 guidances from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), SUFC member, the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), has released guidance on keeping a safe social distance in parks and on trails during this pandemic.
The Arbor Day Foundation, along with the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) announced the first cities to be recognized through the Tree Cities of the World program, which recognizes cities for their commitment to urban forestry management. Check out the cities they recognized here.
