Bartlett Tree Experts Donates $100,000 Worth of Tree and Shrub Care as Part of DC’s National Arboretum Day of Service

On Saturday, March 30, 110 tree workers participated in a Day of Service at the 446-acre National Arboretum in Washington, D.C. The crews, from Bartlett Tree Experts, will perform a range of services to help maintain the health of the trees on the Arboretum’s expansive grounds, which are enjoyed by over 600,000 visitors each year. In honor of Smokey Bear’s 75th birthday (August 9, 2019), the USDA Forest Service, the National Association of State Foresters, and the Ad Council have teamed up to celebrate the nation’s favorite bear. Vibrant Cities Lab: Resources for Urban Forestry, Green Infrastructure

As cities plan for the future, many are asking how best to manage their urban landscapes. The  Vibrant Cities Laboratory (VCL) has set out to empower municipal leaders, planners, and managers with a one-stop-shop for resources on urban forests and how to maximize their many benefits.
